DIY Glittery Christmas Postcards

Tools & Materials:

Which glue to choose?
My favorite crafts glue is Crafter’s Pick - THE ULTIMATE"Non-toxic, a high-performance adhesive formulated especially to give a flexible water resistant bond to difficult to glue surfaces".  The formula works with plastics, metals, papers, buttons, ribbons, and more. However,  always test your glues before applying.

Another glue I use is Tombow MONO Permanent Adhesive ApplicatorIt's basically to two sided tape that is safe for thin papers, photos, etc.

For photos, I also like Pioneer Photo Glue Stick that dries clear.

Papers and Envelopes:

Step 1
Use Deep Edge Punch to create lace pattern. Pay attention to pictures on the Punch to keep the pattern consistent.

Step 2
Use a postcard as a model to create 4 1.2 x 6 1/4 glitter rectangle. Next, stick the rectangle to the front of the folded card.

Step 3
Save this image as JPEG, and print it.
Lay the tracing paper on top of your print, and trace over the lines with a pencil.

Step 4
Copy Christmas tree shape to the back of your glitter paper, and cut out the Christmas tree shape.

Step 5
Use any carton paper to create two small rectangles to be attached at the back side of the tree shape (this will create 3D look)

Step 6
Finally, stick the tree to the front of your card.
